PRIVACY STATEMENT

The company under the www.idfinejewellery.com hereinafter the Company, is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information.

This privacy notice describes how we collect and use personal information about you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation No. 95/46/EK as it was integrated into the Greek legal order with Law No. 4624/2019) (hereinafter “GDPR”).

This present contains important information on how and why we collect, store, use, and share personal information, your rights in relation to your personal information, and how to contact us and supervisory authorities in the event you have any complaint or request.

The Company collects, processes, and is responsible for certain personal information about you. When we do so we are regulated under the GDPR which applies across the European Union (including the United Kingdom) and we are responsible as “Controller” of that personal information for the purposes of the aforementioned direction (and relevant Greek law).

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Personal data or personal information means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

The information is collected using a tag placed on our website and does not relate to any personally identifiable information.

The Company does not control these third-party websites and is not responsible for their privacy policies.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights.

We will not share your personal information with any other third party and we will only provide your personal information which we consider is necessary for the aforementioned purposes.

Generally, we do not need your consent if we use special categories of your personal information in accordance with our written policy and in order to carry out our legal obligations. In the event that obtaining your consent is mandatory by law, we will inform you and ask you in writing to provide us with the relevant consent and we will provide you with all necessary information on the use of your personal data and its purpose. Moreover, when entering our website for the first time a pop-up will appear asking for your consent for the use of cookies by our website.

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for and/or for the period we are required to retain this information by the applicable law, including the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. In some circumstances, we may anonymize your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case we may use such information without further notice to you.

We will retain the information collected through Google Analytics indefinitely to allow us to analyze trends in our website usage over time.  This is not personally identifiable information.

If, in order to respond to a request or query submitted to us by you through our website or social media, or email, or phone, it is necessary to forward your personal data in countries outside the EU, we will make sure that the level of personal data protection applied in the EU is observed in this case as well.

Under the GDPR you have a number of important rights. Under certain circumstances, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal information that we retain.
  • Request correction of the personal information that we retain.
  • Request the erasure of your personal information in cases where there is no legitimate reason for us to continue to process and retain it.
  • Object to the processing of your personal information where we are processing those for direct marketing purposes or where those are collected and processed through automated means in case this collection and processing produce legal effects concerning you or affect you significantly in any way and in general to object to our continued processing of your personal information.
  • Request the transfer of your personal information to a third party.
  • Withdraw consent at any time when we are relying on your consent in order to process your personal data. However, we cannot terminate the processing or erase your personal data in cases where we are not permitted by law to do so. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide certain products or services to you. We will advise you if this is the case at the time you withdraw your consent.

In the limited circumstances where you may have provided your consent to the collection, processing, and transfer of your personal information for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw your consent for that specific processing at any time. To withdraw your consent, please contact eshop@idfinejewellery.com. Once we have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your information for the purpose or purposes you originally agreed to, unless we have another legitimate basis for doing so.

We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way and we have in place all the legal procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach. In case a data security breach occurs, we will notify you immediately.
