The Be Strong necklace shows perennial favourite, Popeye and his best friend Wimpy. Created in 18k gold a vintage VariVue lenticular is decorated with yellow sapphires and diamond baguettes.

Though often lacking in cash, Wimpy will "gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today". Wimpy makes up for his 'poor financial management' in friendship, intelligence and calm.

THE "ABRACADABRA" COLLECTION

"My Abracadabra collection is made with vintage lenticular images. First
created in the late 1930s, these playful objects combine multiple images
to tell a story.
At first glance, lenticular images seem to use a rather simple technology.
The reality, however, is far more complex. It is one thing to understand the
basics of the technology, but quite another to master its application.
Made by the famous VariVue, by the late 1940s, lenticulars
were hugely popular, with the company producing millions of animated
images including everything from wall hangings to record album covers,
Cracker Jack prizes, greeting cards, postcards, political buttons and more.
By the 1950s, VariVue’s images had become such a craze that many famous
personalities of the time wanted to be featured in their advertisements, and
their buttons were used in every political campaign throughout the country.
Today, early VariVue lenticular images are highly sought-after collectors'
items, with some selling for thousands of dollars.
These playful gems provide the inspiration for my one-of-a-kind
Abracadabra pendants. The newest chapter in this collection, Abracadabra
Luxe, features particularly rare and highly sought-after lenticulars. I have
celebrated their preciousness, setting them in 18k and 9k gold, decorating
these beauties with diamonds, rubies, sapphires and beautiful semi-precious
stones.."
