“Besides painting and sculpture and especially when everyone is asleep and the house is quiet, I choose a peaceful place and I secretly make clay objects. My mind fills with birds, flowers, shapes and symbols which I turn into jewellery of gold and precious stones. I work with a magnifying glass and loose myself into the shapes that come to my memory. In my necklaces I combine lilies, a symbol of purity frequently used by French kings, with acorns a symbol of wisdom.
